The friendly host Michael showed me the studio and gave me a lot of information about the area (Brunswick mall with shops and restaurants in next block).
I had expected the studio to be next to the St. Pancras station(easy to carry luggage from and to Eurostar) but had I done my homework, would have realised it was closer to Russels square station. Still, only 10-15 minutes by foot from St. Pancras so not too bad.
Studio is tiny but super clean and well equipped with very good wifi connection. I didn't realise it was lower groundfloor/basement so it was a surprise to see it was below street level. There are two windows for natural light but the only view is a the opposite wall.
As the street can be busy, better to bring ear plugs as you will hear the cars and the people during the night.
The neighbours seem to be smokers so you may experience a wiff of cigarettes every now and then
