The Ranelagh House flat is bright, tidy, and generically modern. For two people, it's large enough to give each person some private space. A couple of the kitchen appliances were unfamiliar to us, but manuals were available, so we learned what we needed to know. All the main rooms have good windows, although they offer no compelling views. (Pleasant views of Chelsea begin a short distance away.)
Location is the best feature of this flat. Charming streets wait to be discovered in every direction. A variety of restaurants and shops are within comfortable walking distance, and groceries can be bought at several places. We relied mostly on quality take-out from Partridges and the Marks and Spencer food hall. For entertainment, we loved being able to walk to a concert at Cadogan Hall, and we enjoyed the BADA antiques fair. Having Sloane Square tube station nearby provided an easy start to each day of sightseeing.
