2 of 5 stars Reviewed March 28, 2014 for a stay in March 2014

We've stayed in this cottage a couple of times before. The location is brilliant and the view fantastic but the facilities and accommodation have definitely gone downhill since we were last here. Some of the facilities advertised were not working: The tumbledryer was broken, the icebox in the fridge falling apart and the oven terrible- slow and went out. There used to be a cupboard of videos and games for kids which has gone now and the section in the welcome pack for info leaflets/things to do was empty. Small stuff to the owner/company maybe but important to a young family on holiday when you can only take so much stuff with you. There was dog hair all over the carpets- yes it's dog friendly and we're used to our own dog's hair but come on, put your hand in your pocket and buy a Dyson and make an effort to clean between visits. All this needs is about £1000 spent on new appliances and a proper clean out and it would be great again. more
