    'Windows' is a town centre Ambleside apartment; which is spacious, contemporary, flooded with light and has fabulous views over the village to Lake Windermere and our majestic fells from the roof terrace.

    The open plan living space is ideal for 4 persons; leather furnishings sit on wooden floors, formal dining space enjoys open access to the kitchen, and all this is surrounded by an array of almost floor-to-ceiling windows.

    The bedroom suites sit on separate floors, ensuring privacy for couples or peace and quiet for parents. However, the loft-style king-size bedroom suite, with access to the roof terrace, makes 'Windows' a worthwhile indulgence for one couple alone.

    Upstairs to the open plan living area with enormous windows, stripped wooden floors and chocolate leather furnishings. The ingenious kitchen has a central island, and serves a large dining area. Twin bedroom at this level, with en-suite shower room with pebbled floor.

    Upstairs to the spacious king-size loft suite, with far-reaching views, en-suite bathroom and access to the roof terrace. The roof terrace is the perfect place for al-fresco meals and lazy afternoons.

Loved staying here - good space with a lot of creature comforts. Excellent heating system! We didn't use the spa as we didn't have a car and it is a drive away. Nice to have the option though. Would definitely stay again more

Really enjoyed stay, accmodation was well above the standard I expected and real value, unfortunately did not take opportunity to use spa pass as spent to much time on the wine have recomended this place to others as a fantastic retreat for a few days break more
