Nessa, the owner; is the most welcoming, accommodating, lady. Our Easter trip was bitterly cold outside; but the wood burner meant that the living space was toastie. Which made it perfect to stay in and watch some dvd's which we had bought along; but there was no dvd player. The owners kindly went out and bought a dvd player the next day.
We had a most relaxing time and cannot wait to return. The area is so beautiful and the setting is like a dream with adorable farm animals on the fields and cute little rabbits running around, hoping not to be spotted. We also enjoyed popping to Canterbury for wonderful shopping over winding cobbled streets. Conveniently, one is never too far from a well stocked supermarket, so we were able to make some delicious meals in the barn's very modern, well equipped kitchen. We loved the area and especially, Podlinge Barn.
