    Additional Location Information
Battery House is located in the historic heart of old Portsmouth,Portsmouth, Hampshire on the English South Coast and overlooking The Solent water and Isle of Wight. Situated away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre and harbour front, but surrounded by sea and cobbled streets. Portsmouth is one of Britain's medium sized cities, famous for being home to the British Navy and as a major ferry port steepd in maritime history. It even received the approval of my mum who I would say is very particular about cleanliness!! It felt as if time and effort had been made to ensure... more

Battery House is fabulous with everything thought of and taken care of. There are few things better than breakfast on the roof terrace in the sunshine. The views are great over to the Isle of Wight. There are nice places to eat and go for drinks locally and so many options for activities. We always have the best of times... more
