5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 11, 2013 for a stay in June 2013

5 years ago my hubby and I took my mother-in-law here for a week in April and it was great. So this time my parents, myself, hubby and our 15 month old baby had a wonderful week in this beautiful cottage.

Carol and Brian were great, more than helpful, as were the other neighbors we met (Pam and Barry).

The cottage kitchen was wonderfully equipped, we had everything we needed to create any culinary masterpiece. The living room was cosy and the log burner looked so inviting - but the weather that we had meant that there were no matches lit for the fire!

The bedrooms were spacious with the most wonderful views across the Painswick valley.

The garden was amazing, not only was there a lawn outside the door, but there was also another one around the corner, at the bottom of the lawn - a wonderful little walk for Seren to see the 'secret garden' and the washing line.

The cottage is a hidden jewel in the cotswold and we will hopefully be coming...

A beautiful area. The country pubs, Black Horse Inn and the Butcher's Arms were a highlight. WiFi is available at the McDonald's in Stroud. Easy access to London via train from Stroud. Carolyn was very helpful and the neighbors were very friendly. The home was small but just right for two people or a small family. more
