    Well Cottage is a charming 16th Century detached cottage situated 50 metres from the River Windrush, set in a very peaceful location and within 3 minutes walk along the river to the village centre. It has been lovingly restored with its original beamed ceilings and large Inglenook fireplace with a wood burning stove. The Cottage Garden is set around an original 16th century well. There is private parking for one car in the driveway as well as parking for a second car close to the property. Well Cottage has all the character and charm for a peaceful and relaxing holiday offering modern conveniences including Wi-Fi.
    Known to be possibly one of the oldest detached holiday cottages in the village, it has been awarded a 4 star rating by Heart of England Tourist board.

    The cottage is located in a quiet cul de sac with the river Windrush closing one end to traffic. The entrance to the cottage is through a small country garden with a seating area for four and a 16th century well. There is private off-street parking for one car as well as parking for a second car close to the property under the side window to the front under the 'Private Parking' sign on the road.

    On entering the front door there is a small hall with a beamed ceiling and a door closing off the L shaped living room allowing privacy to the main front door. Cottage in prime location, 2 mins walk from restaurants and village. Cottage contained everything we needed. Cosy lounge, modern bathroom, very comfortable bed. Cannot fault the property at all. This period cottage (17th century) retains many features including low beamed ceilings and stone walls. A modern bath has been added, with a small but functional kitchen. The place was lovely, well looked after and very quiet. We had an amazing time in a one of the most peaceful and picturesque parts of the country and this was exactly what we were looking for!
