    The property has recently been converted in a contemporary style and fitted with high quality fixtures throughout. There is undertile heating in the fully tiled shower room as well as a heated towel radiator to provide a luxurious showering experience at all times of the year. The accommodation has been highly insulated but thermostatically controlled electric panel heaters have been provided to serve the living and bedroom areas for those cooler nights. The open plan living area has a double height roof infilled with rooflights giving a high level of natural light and spaciousness as well as ventilation, if needed.

    The glazed entrance lobby provides space for hanging coats and shoes etc. as well as giving extra insulation and security.

    Plymouth is served by regional airports at Exeter and Newquay which are about an hour's drive with Bristol airport about two hours journey via the M5 motorway and A38 dual carriageway. Car rental firms such as Avis, Budget, Europcar and Hertz are all represented.

    National Bus and train operators also provide regular links from principal cities throughout the UK including London to Plymouth and are centrally located within 15 minutes of the property. Taxis are on hand outside each of the venues to transport guests on the final section of their journey for approximately £8.00 - £10.00

    Brittany Ferries also run a regular passenger/car ferry service into Millbay Docks from Roscoff in France as well as from Santander in Spain.

Despite such late notice because of the death of a family member, Graham accepted our request for a week's accommodation. He and Krysia were such hospitable people and so caring. Had a great week staying at the Oaks. Graham & Krysia were the perfect hosts and treated you as though you were their personal guests not renters. We were made to feel very welcome by the owners, with home made food waiting in the fridge.
