We stayed at the Old Smithy for the first week of August. Booking was easy and straightforward and communication between the owner and ourselves was excellent.
Greeted by the welcoming caretaker we knew we would love our stay. The cottage did not dissapoint. Clean and homely are the first words that spring to mind. Like a home from home.
The cottage is beautifuly furnished and the kitchen fully equipped. The decor is bright and tasteful. The garden tranquil and peacful.
My 4 year old loved everything! There are a selection of dvd's and toys around the cottage and also a sky family package for morning cartoons!
The bedrooms and comfortable amd relaxing. There are blackout blinds upstairs so this ment no bright sunshine woke madam to early.
On our arrival the caretaker had left wine and milk which was much appreciated!
There are some cleaning materials to use also which was great.
