5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 week ago for a stay in August 2014

From start to finish the experience was really lovely. We appreciated the little touches like the milk in the fridge on arrival and the coffee machine! It was clean and well looked after and we thoroughly enjoyed our week. If you stay here you need to be able to drive as there was no where to walk to from the house. It is however, situated midway between the north and south coasts so there were lovely beaches within 20 minutes either way.

If I was being super critical (and I mean really picky!), there were a few things that would be good to be looked at: The sink in the main bathroom was a bit blocked, the markings on the cooker and microwave had been rubbed off over time so you had to guess what the buttons did, and the conservatory seemed to collect dead flies in roof.

Having said that, none of this affected our stay and we would stay here again given half the chance!

We rented this house for a week in July and overall enjoyed the location and the large living accommodation. The owners are obviously proud that they have qualified for a 5* rating from the tourist board. Most of the week there were a total of 10 adults ranging from early twenties to grandparents. The living space and the fact that each bedroom was en-suite or very close to a bathroom was excellent. The kitchen is large and well equipped. The main living/dining area is large with comfortable sofas. The dining table and chairs are really a garden set, but more than adequate for our needs. The bedrooms were clean and tidy. The beds were comfortable. Shower gel is provided, but not really 5* as it was from the Asda smartprice range. Towels are provided, but the bath towel is very small so you may wish to consider that. The undoubtedly highlight of the house was the conservatory which made the living space even larger. There is a lovely terrace with a running fountain, a perfect sun trap... more
