I stayed here with my 2 teens, husband and mother. Plenty of room with the 3BRs and 2BAs. All the amenities of home were provided - fully stocked kitchen, utensils, pots/pans, microwave, new age washer/dryer (so quiet), flat screen tv's and sauna. We stayed here in June 2012, and I heartily recommend this place. It has a beautiful lodge decor. It was really clean and very well stocked with towels, soaps, and kitchenware. This home on the Meadow is located 100 miles East of Sacramento taking HWY 50 or about a 2 hour drive depending on road conditions, traffic etc. From Reno it is 1.5 hours drive. You can fly to Reno and take the shuttle to South Lake Tahoe or rent a car, if traveling by plane. Lake Tahoe has a private only airport, no commercial planes. The house is 4 miles to Camp Richards if you want to rent a boat, go to the beach etc. We are 8 miles from Emerald Bay and hiking trails are all around or biking as well. Restaurants are all very close and Super Markets are 1.5 miles away in either direction from the house on HWY 50 ( South Lake Tahoe Blvd.)
