    Rental Home –
    2 Bedrooms, 1 Bathroom, Sleeps 4
Situated in the village of Hambleton, probably the most beautiful of the stone Rutland villages, with it's unique position on the Rutland Water peninsula. This converted mellow stone barn overlooks unspoilt countryside and has magnificent views over Rutland Water but is within close walking distance of the village pub/restaurant and the Michelin starred restaurant of Hambleton Hall. A short stroll in any direction takes you to the edge of Rutland Water.

The barn provides accommodation on a single floor and is enjoyed equally by couples wanting to 'get away from it all' and families looking for a more active holiday. We have been awarded our 4* tourism rating.Cycling, walking, fishing, sailing, windsurfing, golf and birdwatching can all be pursued close by whilst many excellent...

We are visitors from Australia, and the directions to this property were so clear, and the personal welcome (and 'Welcome Pack') from Helen so friendly that we felt at ease and "at home" from the moment we arrived. Our highest points went to the décor and most comfortable living space inside, complemented by a beautiful garden and tranquil Rutland Water... more

We are Australian visitors stayed at Hilltop Barn for a week and a friend stayed with us for a few days. A lovely, peaceful place to stay. Glorious views, lovely walks, great villages to explore and excellent accommodation. It was a pleasure to stay at Hilltop Barn. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. more

Rutland is a beautiful and still relatively undiscovered county with mellow stone villages, so pleased you came all this way to visit us. I hope you enjoy... more
