This is a lovely house near to the harbour in a hidden gem of a village. Short walk to to the wonderful Coldingham Bay beach, popular with families.On the Berwickshire coastal path, ideal for walking, diving, surfing or just exploring the beautiful Scottish Borders and Northumberland coastline. Only 40 miles from Edinburgh, allowing for easy day trips.

St Abbs is ideally placed for those who enjoy the countryside.The Berwickshire Coastal Path passes through an area of natural beauty with magnificent birdlife. It runs from Berwick-upon-Tweed in the South to St Abbs, passing through Coldingham on the way . There are endless opportunities for walking, mountain biking and horse riding. With its coastline location there is sea angling available at Eyemouth, and fly fishing at Coldingham Loch.

We had a great stay here. The cottage is 5 minutes walk from the beautiful Coldingham bay (take your wetsuits and surf /boogie boards) which has rocks, sand and waves in plenty - what more could you ask for? St. Abbs is a delightful place with fantastic walks and breathtaking views. Brierydean is a lovely cosy property with all you need for a relaxing evening after an active day. The conservatory and garden are real bonuses. Pamela is kind and helpful and sorted out a problem we had within 24 hours. Thank you so much for a wonderful holiday.... more

Cannot fault accommodation, well equiped, spacious and clean.ideal for a relaxing get away. Brierydean is perfectly situated, just a short walk( few yards) for lovely scenic views. Brierydean garden is cosy and just the job to sit in and relax. Would definatlty recomend. more

Brierydean is a traditional semi detached house situated close to the harbour in the lovely village of St Abbs. It
is comfortably furnished with the accommodation as follows:-

On the ground floor there is a :-

-living room with an open fire ( supply of logs available) and a good selection of family board games and an extensive selection of up to date dvds available for use. There is Freeview digital television and wi -fi internet connection to allow you to bring your laptop or mobile device to surf the internet.

- a double bedroom

-a newly fitted kitchen fully equipped with everything you should need for your holiday. The kitchen leads to a centrally heated conservatory with extendable dining table.

A refundable £150 security deposit required with final balance payment.

£50 discount for stays of 2 weeks.

25% deposit required to secure booking with balance payable 6 weeks before start of holiday.

In the event of a cancellation by the holidaymaker within six weeks of when the holiday is due to commence, the deposit and balance is refundable only if another booking is secured.
