This was our second visit to Mas Piedmont in as many years. We shared it with family last year and with old friends this year - each from Australia, so it was a lovely chance to show some delights of Provence to our brethren.
The location is south of the Luberon range, in its foothills. The house is very large, with thick stone walls providing coolness in the summer sun, and is full of character. The kitchen is very well equipped. There is plenty of space inside and out. The bedrooms are all good sizes and are well appointed. All linen is provided and is very high quality.
The salt-water inifinity pool is a delight to sit by and to be in. And our particular love is the raised terrace above the pool. The view towards Saint Victoire is stunning particularly in the setting sun. We spent many an evening sitting out til late enjoying the warmth and soaking in the atmosphere.
Mas Piedmont is situated just outside La Tour d'Aigues which is a lovely little village... more
