We stayed at Golf des fontenelles the last 10 days in April 2014. We were in an apartment which is at the end of the building with a west facing patio which we were lucky enough to sit on as we had several really lovely days of sunshine. This apartment also has an east facing patio and garden which means that you wake up to lots of light and sunshine if the weather behaves. Although the low season, the apartment was clean and cosy, if we needed more warmth in the evening the electric radiators worked very well.
We went into reception several times during our stay and found the staff very helpful, organising taxi’s for us etc. Nicole the reception manager was particularly helpful in sorting out a small problem in the apartment with no major fuss.
The complex has a golf course with a club house, swimming pool (not open until May – too cold to use now anyway) a boule area and tennis courts. There is also a restaurant attached to the main building called Balata. We ate at the... more
