Puerto Aventuras is a family-friendly gated resort, just 15 minutes south of Playa del Carmen. The people are friendly, the resort is safe and the beach and pool are just a few steps from the condo. Puerto Aventuras captures ALL of the elements you'd want in a family vacation or romantic get-a-way. Our favorite activity is just to relax and enjoy the breathtaking views of the ocean and beach. The waters are calm as the bay is bordered by a reef, which makes it possible for our second favorite activity, snorkeling. Snorkeling equipment can be rented right off the beach at the Omni Hotel dive shop. We've seen all different colors and species of tropical fish and even sea turtles! Children love the Dolphin Discovery program which is just a five minute walk from the condo. The dolphin lagoon is surrounded by twelve delightful restaurants, that usually offer entertainment and always delicious food!
