I travelled to Hacienda Riquleme with my family and in-laws. My wife's parents and my parents stayed in another apartment but my wife and I wanted somewhere on the ground floor as we have a young child.
I contacted Nigel (the owner of the apartment) and he was very friendly and helpful. He gave us tips and ideas about day trips around the area.
The apartment is nicely laid out and well furnished, it had everything that we needed (including wi-fi). The large covered terrace leads out onto a private grass section where you can sunbathe. Alternatively there is a direct entrance to the gardens and pool area (the pool is fenced so no trouble with kids running around) where we used the apartments deck chairs to sunbathe.
The on-site supermarket, restaurant/bar and golf clubhouse were only a five minute walk away. There was also a kids play area (swings/slide etc.) on the way to the clubhouse.. The whole resort is well maintained and clean. I did play golf once and...
