My husband, 7 year old and my parents staid at Villa Azucena for a week. We loved everything about the house, but the highlight was the pool and the sense of privacy. The pictures don't lie. You are right on a little lake looking out on the golf course. The house is in a very well developed neighborhood, but with a bird sanctuary on one side and the golf course as your backyard, it feels very private. I was indifferent about the golf course, but it turned out to be a lot of fun watching everyone play and the setting is so pretty. There were tons of birds and agoutis to watch. The action in town is just a 4-5 minute walk and there's a path to the beach that takes about 3-4 minutes. It's a nice little stretch of beach with no hotels. Seemed popular with the locals when we where there. There's a huge supermarket across the street from the entrance to the development.
