We stayed in the bungalow for a month Oct/Nov 2012 with a bedroom (comfortable queen), bathroom with shower, kitchenette/living/dining and sunroom on the main floor. There was another bedroom downstairs which we did not use. Great view looking east over northern Oaxaca and S. Felipe. There is a small grocery store for basics (water, rice, beans, eggs, tortillas, etc.) next...

Oaxaca City is located in a high valley of the Sierra Madre in Southern Mexico at 1,600 meters (5,250ft) above sea level. The climate is stable with temperatures around 27°C (80.6°F) throughout the year.
It is a colonial city with many attractions, i.e. colonial architecture, colorful markets, indigenous culture, world famous cuisine, handicrafts, arts and galleries and a large variety of cultural activities.
Colonia Loma Linda is a safe and quiet neighborhood in the northern part of Oaxaca city. Please visit our website (casalomalinda - dot- info) where you will find lots of pictures about Oaxaca, the historical center, typical fiestas, historical and archeological sites and much more!
The historical center, Santo Domingo Church, the zocalo are about 2 miles away. Monte Alban can be reached in 20 minutes by car and Mitla and the Sierra Norte (Guelatao, Ixtlan) are an hours ride away. We also offer tours to all archeological sites, the coast and the Sierra Norte with ts indigenous communities, beautiful natural surroundings, forests and rivers and will be happy to support you in designing your day trips.
