Perfect location for access to the wonderful Pembrokeshire National Coast Path. The picturesque village of Solva in the National Park area of Pembrokeshire, offers the visitor a wealth of unspoilt coastline. The Fiord like harbour forms a safe anchorage: there are sands, rock pools and caves. Additional amenities & feature info
'The Annexe' forms part of a large family house right at the top of Solva village. It's atmosphere is compact and tasteful, providing the visitor with all the comforts of home in lovely surroundings. The main part of the house enjoys views out over St Brides Bay but this is not quite visible from 'The Annexe' windows. The village with shops and post office is 5 minutes walk away down a fairly steep road. The Harbour and quay are within easy walking distance

The accommodation is on the ground floor and would be suitable for the elderly or someone who is slightly disabled - with one small step over the threshold. However there are five steps up from the parking area with no hand rail. It is possible to bypass the steps and access The Annexe front door via a level lawn...

5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 5, 2013 for a stay in April 2013

The Annexe is a very comfortable and well maintained flat in Upper Solva. It is very cosy and welcoming and has everything you could want - comfy living room, nice bathroom with shower and bath, and a good sized bedroom. There is also a conservatory - unfortunately we didn't use it because the weather was quite cool over Easter but... more

4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 16, 2012 for a stay in May 2012

We booked The Annexe for a week's stay and were very pleased with our choice. Penny was welcoming and had provided a lot of leaflets and information about the area. She also provided a travel cot for our baby, which was essential as we came by train. Brilliantly situated for enjoying walks along the coast and using the bus service... more

Management response:

What a nice couple and baby. It was a pleasure seeing them enjoy themselves and even despite one day of foggy and mist they seemed very happy. Hope to see them again. more

4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 21, 2012 for a stay in April 2012

A warm, clean and comfortable flat with lots of reclaimed pine and painted brickwork, plenty of storage space and good lighting (with confusing arrays of light switches). Simple and sturdy, not cluttered with decorations and ornaments, which is how I prefer it. Fantastic location close to the coastal path and within walking distance of the amenities in Solva. I agree...

Management response:

Thankyou for the nice review. We have now added some new kitchen equipment and replaced a couple of saucepans. We like to keep things up to scratch, so thanks for alerting us to the shortfall. more
