Le Salamandre is a very private guest house located at the leeward end of the island. There is a private beach approximately 100 yards away that is located on the channel between Providenciales and Little Water Cay. This section of beach is approximately 1/2 mile long and we never saw more than 6 other people on this beach. The main beach on the ocean is about a 5 minute walk and there on not many people on this section either.
It is about a 10 minute drive from the guest house to the Grace Bay area where most of the restaurants and shops are located. The super market is about a 15 minute drive. The house has a gas grill on the pool deck and the kitchen is fully equiped for preparing meals in.
The living area and kitchen are not air conditioned but the high ceilings and ceiling fans kept this area reasonably comfortable. The dining table is located on the screen porch which is completely open to the living room.
