This was my second stay at La Finca and I very heartily recommend the place to couples or groups looking for a rustic and relaxing vacation. I visited previously in March 2010 with my fiancee to scout out locations for a destination wedding. During that trip, we stayed in one of the small buildings called the Casita.
We enjoyed our stay so much that we returned about 10 months later with a group of approximately 16 people who mostly stayed in the rooms in the main Guesthouse. My wife and I stayed in the Casa Nueva building, which is across the lawn from the main guesthouse at La Finca. Casa Nueva was very comfortable and quite secluded and peaceful. We got a lot of use out of the full kitchen and the grill. It is two levels with the bedroom and bathroom upstairs and outdoor solar-heated showers just outside. The place does not have air conditioning - you don't really need it- but does provide fans and mosquito nets over the beds. It has a pool too, but we were too busy...
