Nirvana on the Beach is aptly named; it is pure bliss on Negril’s “7-Mile Beach” -- a quiet retreat within walking distance of any “action” vacationers might be interested in (such as shopping, water sports, beach bars, parties, etc.). In addition, transportation for various types of site-seeing excursions and activities farther away can be easily arranged.
We stayed in a Garden View cabin with a kitchen that included a fridge, a two-burner gas stove, microwave, coffee maker, blender and an electric citrus juicer. This ground level unit was spacious, air conditioned, and comfortable. At the entrance, a water faucet offered a means to wash the sand off our feet before entering. The staff is amiable, attentive, and accommodating (AAA+)! If there is anything you need, just ask for it. Because we wanted to experience authentic local cuisine we asked the ladies (Lynn, Leonie, and Joan) to cook for us a couple of times. They prepared chicken and curry goat, callaloo, rice...
