We spent a lovely week in St Jean D'Aulps in August, we were 2 families with 5 children between us aged from 7 to 13. The house exceeded our expectations and we really felt very lucky to have stayed here - it was large, new and clean and came fully equipped with everything you need. The showers were hot and powerful and the addition of the hot tub outside was a welcome way to end the evening after a day's sightseeing or cycling. There were great views from the large windows, which had electric shutters to keep the light out.
We were greeted with a friendly welcome and the owners made sure that we had everything we needed including some wood for the log burner as despite it being August a couple of evenings were quite chilly!
The walk to town was just about 10 minutes away and we visited le petit coq restaurant onTwo occasions and spent a nice evening there. The walk home is up unite a steep road so you need tone reasonably fit. The bakers was fantastic with a...
