This gite is excellently appointed, with a large living / dining / kitchen space and a south-facing terrace. It is on the secluded edge of Loubes Bernac, a lovely quiet village but with an excellent little provisions shop. There is the great joy of a few minutes walk in the morning to get the fresh crusty bread and then to breakfast on the terrace in the morning sun.
The accommodation is clean and the bedroom very comfortable. (If we had brought children there is a large bedroom upstairs and a minstrel gallery which could have provided good fun.) It was also comforting to have English-speaking help almost immediately available.
The gite is also well located, being within, say, 40 minutes of Bergerac Airport. Nearby are market towns such Eymet and Duras, and the restaurants of Bergerac and St Emilion.
