the gite is set on a small holding at the end of a track in a gorgeous area of country side. the neil family are relaxed and obliging hosts- we were given salad from thier amazing veg garden , collected eggs with the children and ate the most delicious home made plum jam with bread that was delivered in the morning ! A s well as walks down the chemin and playing in the woods we swam in the etang de chaud where there is even a little cafe , were warmly welcomed by the family making goats cheese at Charron , visited a wolf pack ! and clambered on the awesome Pierre Jaumetre .this is land that time and tourists forgot visit it for yourselves !
