My husband, two adult daughters and myself spent 11 days at Villa Cal Rei in August 2012. We booked at the last minute and were given a discount. The details stated that we would have to pay 50 Euros extra to be allowed to use the air conditioning but instead we paid for the electricity we used which came to around the same amount. There was air conditioning in all the rooms (except bathrooms) and we used it overnight.
Because no-one was staying at the villa the day before we were allowed in early. We arrived around midday and were met by the owner who showed us around and told us where everything was. He and his family live directly behind the villa and although there is a way through from his property their entrance was from a different road.
The villa is up a long drive, at the side of which are two small unfenced fields with fig and almond trees. It is about a mile down a minor road off the main Inca to Alcudia road. The pool is at the front of the house but is not...
