Our medieval village home was beautifully restored in the Provencal manner by Christian Richer, a local architect known for his ability to retain the innate character and charm of these fine old structures. 5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 23, 2013 for a stay in September 2013

My sister and I rented the guest house at the beginning of September 2013. What a wonderful place to stay. Mark provided a wealth of information on the area prior to our visit. If there is a bump in the road on the way, Mark has probably documented that detail in the information package he sends you. The information is... more

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. You do need to be a good walker and unafraid of a traditional spiral staircase or two. The house is beautifully restored and stocked with books and charming artefacts. Enjoy the roof terrace. You will have the opportunity to feel a part of village life as you wake to the sound of church bells and... more

How to get there
Airport: Nice Cote d'Azur: 29.8 mi
Railway: Saint-Raphael TGV: 19.9 mi
Flying in to Nice (NCE) airport is best. Rent a car, hop on the Autoroute (The A8) and follow the A8s blue signs pointing in the direction of Aix en Provence (west). Exit the A8 at exit ramp #39 and head to Fayence. Seillans is the next village. There are two toll plazas along the way. Be prepared and have at least five 1-euro coins for the tolls because most US bank or credit cards do not work in the automatic machines. And you will need a 1-euro coin to release the luggage carts at the Nice airport. You get the coin back when you return the cart and hook it back to the others.
