Casina di Rosa is a lovely stone house in a medieval village in the heart of Tuscany. It was built by the owner's great-grandparents and has always been in the family. It is perfectly located to explore southern Tuscany, situated as it is halfway between Siena and the coast of the Maremma, with easy access to the most famous sites in Tuscany. Hot springs are nearby and vineyards and olive groves surround the village. The house has a lovely kitchen furnished in a romantic country style and equipped with all the necessary amenities (washing machine, filter coffee machine, oven, fridge and freezer, toaster, etc.) to ensure that guests are comfortable. Some essentials for cooking are provided (spices, salt, sugar, tea and coffee, etc.). There is an open fireplace ideal to relax in the cold... more

It was comfortable, well furnished and had everything we needed, Gloria, who owns the apartment, could not have been more accommodating. She met us at a cafe on the outskirts of the village and guided us to the apartment. She showed us where everything was and... more

The fully equipped kitchen allowed us to cook for ourselves, however, with great restaurants and a bar close by we rarely cooked....OK we did breakfast! We don't go back over previous places, as there are... more
