This secluded villa is high on promontory directly overlooking the sea on two sides, with fantastic views and wonderful sunsets. Though temperatures were in the mid thirties every day, the main terrace overlooking the pool, where 10 of us ate most nights, was always shaded and cooled by the breeze, so that even the 3 month old baby with us never got too hot. All the bedrooms were either air-conditioned or equipped with effective fans. The owner was friendly and very quick to respond to our requests for small adjustments. The jacuzzi didn't work, not that that bothered us. The pool apartment was attractive though the 'kitchenette' only offered a table and chairs - no cooking, fridge or eating facilities. A kettle there would have been useful.
The 4 children, aged 6 to 13 years, loved the pool, which was lit at night. Snorkelling on the secluded beach was a huge attraction - shallow, safe swimming for a considerable distance and plenty of fish, octopus, star fish and sea urchins... more
