We loved our stay at The Olive Yard House. This was primarily a holiday chosen by my eldest daughter (10) and wife. They agree it was our best holiday ever.
The house is great. (Awesome!) and beautifully homely. the gardens are good too. Chickens with fresh eggs every day. A vegetable patch (we could have been self sufficient for the stay) and assorted fruit trees depending on the season. And a lot of olive trees.
We were TOTALLY relaxed here. It was very secluded. There is a outdoor music setup which was cranked up several times in the knowledge it would not affect any close neighbours.
Nicos and his family made us so welcome. Nothing was too much trouble.
The downside. I and my youngest daughter both got bad ear infections. When we mentioned this to Nicos he asked if it was the pool. We dont know. We had been to the sea many times also, but the unanswered question put us off the pool a bit other than sedate cooling off leisurely swims.
