    The converted barn is set in the courtyard adjacent to the owners farmhouse, in the village of Bonsall high above the wooded 'Via Gellia' gorge. With the lively town of Matlock Bath, 2 miles by car or a scenic walk through woodland. Superb walks from the door to the limestone moors above.
    It is a quiet spot ideally located for walkers but within easy driving distance of many visitor attractions. Chatsworth, Haddon Hall and Arkrights Mills for the historians and Crich Tramway Museum, Carsington Water, Gullivers Kingdom and Alton Towers theme and water parks for family groups.

We had a fantastic stay. The cottage is fully equipped with everything you need. We were a family party of seven and there was plenty of room for us all to enjoy quality family time together in a beautiful place.Thank you Jayne and family for making us all feel so welcome. more

Great rental property,well equipped,clean and comfortable.situated in small friendly village close to local attractions.Had a very relaxing stay,is excellent value for money. more

Thank you very much for your review. Just to verify, for visitors in the spring/summer, there is garden furniture in the courtyard. It was in storage at the time of your visit due to the time of year and the recent heavy snow. more

Family holiday with 4 generations, excellent property, everything you would want and plenty not expected. Traveled with a toddler and it always safe. Lovely big cot provided. Ideal location for both walking with plenty of walks from the village and well as being central for easy assess to all the main tourist attractions in the area. We shall look forward... more
