This was our 4th visit to Yorkey's and first stay at the Medditeranean. Trish Cowin is a marvel at making her guests feel special and ensuring all their needs are met. We had apartment no 2, for 14 days, which is ground floor beside the pool, but it still has a lovely outlook on to the beach. The apartments are spacious and very well appointed. We like to cook all the fabulous fresh local produce and found the kitchen worked very well for us. We don't hire a car because we do day trips and the rest of the time the local Sunshine buses met all our needs to get in and out of Cairns and Smithfield for our shopping expeditions. The bus stop is straight across from the apartments.
