We were looking for somewhere to stay that would offer good cycling for my husband and my father and we couldnt have picked a better spot, being a couple of hours from the alps and in some very picturesque setting the boys had plenty of fun cycling around the villages and hills in the Jura and much to thier delight the owner is an avid cyclist who was more than happy to share his beautiful area with us and took the boys out on a long cycle ride in the area.
The cottage itself was beautiful and so historic, sitting beside a 12th centrury church and a Chateau overlooking an amaxing valley you really couldnt ask for a nicer view. The house had everything we needed with plenty of room for the 4 of us. The kitchen was well supplied and we cooked lots of lovely meals. The owners were also kind enough to give us some reccomendations of lcoal places to eat, visit and shop and had put together a book of itineries you can do in the area.
