    Additional amenities & feature info
Due to the house's unique layout and framework, the owners have created a modern, luxurious and spacious environment within the context of a 16th century setting, providing the ability to entertain without fuss or bother or to simply relax in comfort.

Coordinated throughout the interior is the use of birch timber combined with bold colourful furnishings giving a fresh contemporary feel with comfort as a priority. The bedrooms have been arranged in the European style enabling the choice of king beds or pairs of single beds, each made up with separate all-season duvees. Each bedroom offers splendid rural views through shuttered windows whilst lazing in the comfort of bed.

We had a fantastic time during our three weeks at La Dame Blanche. The people in the village are very welcoming. We visited striking gorges, majestic Cathar Castles, pretty medieval villages, local markets with fresh foods and superb cheeses and went on some memorable hikes. We stayed during Autumn enjoying mostly sunny days and crisp evenings. We could not resist sipping the local champagne at night, listening to the open fire crackling at night whilst eating local hard cheese from the Pyrenees. There is ample electric and gas heating for those nights when one arrives home late after eating at the local restaurants. The compendium in the house of local activities has enough suggestions for months of enjoyable days. We want to return and experience winter and summer at the house! more
