    Lovely Rosebud Cottage is stylish but traditional. Beautifully converted and in the midst of a conservation area, it offers wonderfully light and bright accommodation for three.

    The cosy sitting room is a lovely place to chill out whilst next door is the attractive separate well equipped kitchen. The delightful main bedroom has beautiful hand painted cabinets and a Victorian fireplace, whilst the second bedroom has the best views of the wonderful garden flowers.

    Guests adore the cottage garden and sit outside relaxing on the garden seats. At the back you can listen to the mill stream running behind the house.

    Ferry: Newhaven: 26.1 mi
    If you don't want to use a car there is a half hourly train service from Gatwick to Shoreham by Sea. There is a taxi rank outside Shoreham station. The trip from the station to the cottage costs around £15.

    Alternatively you can travel by train to Shoreham by Sea then catch a local bus to Steyning from Ham road - near the station. Get off opposite the clock tower in the High Street . The cottage is a few minutes walk. This is an hourly bus service.

Well what can I say - this was an experience that we'll never forget - it was our first stop from Australia. The cottage had everything we needed for our 5 night stay. Comfortable bedrooms and fully equipped kitchen. Very well located - especially Brighton and Hove. Steyning is a lovely village - with a lot of eating places, especially...

We had an extended trip to the UK staying in various cottages around the country, and found Rosebud Cottage to be one of the best equipped and most comfortable of all. Stayed a week in Rosebud cottage which is in the village of Steyning locate in West Sussex. ..the cottage was fully equipped and we wanted for nothing it was beautiful. ..the village itself was at our doorstep and made eating out very easy. ..plenty to choose from plus a variety of stores providing everything you need for a gourmet meal... more
