A quality Victorian cottage, traditional yet stylish, with beautiful decoration and furnishings. Unusually light and bright, it has a delightful cosy living room and a very well equipped full kitchen where you can sit and eat. Upstairs are two beautiful bedrooms: The main one has a Victorian fireplace and local hand painted bedside cabinets. Both rooms have ample storage.

Outside is the most delightful cottage garden where you can sit and relax in the sun at the front or back of the house. The flowering plants are spectacular and you can listen to the mill stream which runs behind the beautiful garden.

The cottage is in the most perfect location with both country footpaths and local shops, pubs and restaurants within a 5 minute walk. Steyning i...

A friend and I stayed at Rosebud Cottage for a week while we were walking in the South Downs. The cottage has a very well equipped kitchen, a nice bathroom, comfortable lounge with plenty of books on walks in the area. The bedrooms were also comfortable, but note the stairs are steep with a turn at the bottom. The small... more

Management response:

So pleased to hear you would definitely stay at Rosebud Cottage again. Part of the charm of these mid nineteenth century cottages is the rather quaint right of way through back gardens – fortunately the neighbours, who may use this right of way, are very discreet & considerate. Another typical feature of these early Victorian cottages is steep stairs, so... more

Just returned from a weeks stay at Rosebud Cottage, beautifully presented with everything I could possibly have needed provided. Even the weather was dry and sunny. Steyning is a lovely location, with the South Downs right on the doorstep and lots of good cafes and restaurants. Made good use of my week visiting Chichester, Brighton and lots of good walking... more

Management response:
