During the booking process, we found the owner, Katherine, both helpful and patient. On arrival, she and her husband Marco were very welcoming. The flat is beautifully decorated and simply furnished in a successful blend of modern fittings and much older heirlooms and other artefacts. From the balcony is a classic Swiss mountain hamlet view: mountains in the background, and lush green meadows in the foreground.
The kitchen is very well equipped, and all the equipment has the appearance of being new or almost new, and of high quality. The only problem was the bit at the end of the table that sticks out from the leg and removes your kneecap when you sit down. I exaggerate slightly, and the skin is now growing back on our knees.
The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable, bathroom excellent, there's a good selection of local walking maps, a trifle worn now because we put them to good use, and there's good wifi access in the main bedroom, which conveniently has a desk... more
