This is a beautifully renovated, comfortable central village house, with a pleasant courtyard-style garden.
The village is very attractive, though lively and noisy by usual rural French standards. There is a busy outdoor bar just over the road from the house which plays live music on Friday nights. Another restaurant in a square across the road played loud recorded music into the street during the weekend when we were there. On several other nights of the week there was other amplified music which was also audible from the garden of the house - in particular the Saturday night when there was an extremely loud outdoor party (which turned out to have been the local fire service). This went on until 3am. Due to its central location, the popularity of the village and the bar opposite, there were a lot of comings and goings beneath the windows of the house, which meant it was impossible to sleep with the windows open although the weather was extremely hot.
