    Rental Home –
    1 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom, Sleeps 2
Set back from the road at the end of a gravel path, this pretty brick and flint building has been imaginatively converted from its original purpose. The owners, who live next door in the former bakery, have refurbished The Bakehouse with immense care, providing a highly attractive base from which to explore this fascinating area. It thoroughly deserves its Visit Britain 4 stars grading.

The cottage is independent from the owners house, very beautiful, big and with all the amenities. There are two levels, downstairs with kitchen and eating area and upstairs with bedroom, small living with TV and the bathroom. The shower was great and the heating system really fine. The wifi is for free but better used downstairs (easier connection). The garden is really beautiful and do you have a small part for you with table and chairs. We found a welcome pack, wine from our country, fine pastries, some fruit, all good. The owners next door are very kindly and helpfull. Inside the cottager there are lots of info to visit around including Salisbury, Bath, Stonehenge and Avebury among lots of others. The little village is beautiful with a samll supermarket near and two big ones in Amesbury, 15 minutes by car, next to the road coming from London, Stonehenge are 5 minutes by car. Best option make a reservation online, if you want less people, only 26 by group you can look for special... more

Beautiful cottage which is very modern and clean. The bed was incredibly comfy as too was the 'snug.' The owners John and Sheila are lovely, kind people who made our stay extra special. We thoroughly enjoyed the welcome pack - especially the flap jacks and bottle of Rosé!

Ideally located, only 5 minutes from Stonehenge, 50 minutes from Bath and 45 minutes from McArthurGlen Designer Outlet for those who want a bargain! There's some great pubs/restaurants close by, as too are there some romantic strolls within the vicinity.

We just enjoyed every second of our stay and were sad to say 'goodbye.'

This cottage is a MUST on so many levels and you will NOT be disappointed!
