This resort is great. The rooms are huge and very very clean. Huge bathroom and plenty of space for your belongings and clothes. The only issues we had are first and foremost the walls are beyond paper thin. We could hear every conversation going on in the next room. Thank goodness we didn't have children next to us or a screaming baby. There really needs to be something done about this. It's kind of creepy. The screen on our patio was off the track and even when we put it back on it was broken. Sunday nights there is a huge beach party which is not part of Esmerelda but be warned.... you will be up until 3:00am Monday because of the music. You cannot escape it. The wifi in the rooms is not worth the $10.00/day they charge. The connection is terrible and the router needs to be set constantly which may not be in your room but someone else's room in your bungalow. The wifi in the lobby area is excellent.
