    Garden House opens onto the enclosed gardens and features huge glazed doors which open up to a spacious private terrace for alfresco dining. Entertaining is made easy with a well equipped kitchen with granite worktops, range style cooker and American fridge freezer. The property is highly insulated and provides a great group reatreat at any time of year.
    The main double bedroom features a luxurious travertine clad bathroom, underfloor heating and glazed doors leading out on to the terrace. Bedroom 2 offers a double bed with room for a travel cot and bedroom 3 has twin beds. The family bathroom features a freestanding bath and walk in shower .

ok, ok - so I haven't actually stayed in Garden House but we have stayed in 3 other properties at Home Farm Cranmer Cottages - Tern, Avocet and Woodpecker in 2012 and 2013. Garden House is one of 8 properties on the site and I must say that they have all been of an excellent standard and would not hesitate in recommending them. We take our 2 small children (under 4) and often take my mother-in-law (for baby sitting!) and we particularly like the heated, indoor, salt water pool and huge fenced-off play area which each property backs onto (except Coot Cottage). The play area has swings and a slide for the kids to play on and plenty of open space to burn off all that energy. There are tennis courts (x2) and cycle sheds to store your own or hired bikes, so there is plenty to do there. I usually take a jog down the old Roman road or cycle up to Holkam Hall, as there are some nice cycle routes in the area. Fakenham has the usual supermarkets and Burnham market is only a short drive away... more
