Chiesa di San Michele is a medieval church, parts of which date back to the C12th. We stayed in one of a number of self catering accommodations attached to the church. It was a little basic but fantastic value for money with a good sized bedroom with comfortable double bed, en suite toilet and shower, comfortable lounge with sofa and chair plus a kitchen/dining room. The kitchen has enough to cook and eat with but is lacking a few desirable (to Brits anyway) items such as toaster, kettle (it has a hob coffee maker) and small saucepans. This is a small quibble though as you also get your own small garden (complete with walnut and fig tree) with raised, covered patio looking out over the farm to the mountains in the distance.
