Horsestable Beach is a large fairly undeveloped public beach access with a small pier on the north coast near Whitby and Hollywood beach. It is accesible via the main road and is well marked and paved to the parking area. There are several large public buildings including covered picnic areas with tables and benches, bathrooms and a parking lot. The beach has white powdery sand and clear water with a reef breaking the water visible from shore. There is very little development surrounding the area with large expanses of beach in both directions.
