The Great Outdoors

Cincinnati has plenty for outdoor lovers as well. From bike trails to camping and canoeing, Cincinnati can accommodate many different likes and dislikes.

Parks - Hamilton County Park district has many parks with varying levels of facilities. If you are looking for a family friendly boating and fishing experience try Winton Woods. The extensive park has camping and boat rental. You can even rent a small pontoon boat for a couple hours or for the day. Fishing gear is also available.

Canoeing - Canoeing is a popular activity in the Tri-State area. Most canoeing happens on the Little Miami River. For a variety of options try Morgan's canoe livery. Morgan's offers varying lengths of trip as well as the convenient option of combining canoe and camping for a truly great experience. Cabins are also available. On the west side of Cincinnati there is Green Acres Canoe & Kayak Rental operating on the pristine Whitewater River offering canoes, kayaks, rafts & tubes along with mini-golf.

Bike Trails - Biking is a great way to see the great outdoors and there are many places to check out. Loveland offers access to an extensive bike trail system as well as bike rentals, shops, and restaurants.  At Cincinnati's Sawyer Point Park, you can rent a variety of unique cycles from Wheel Fun Rentals. There are miles of expansive bike trails that allow you to take in nature on a comfortable, exciting cycle.

Zipline - North of Kings Island just off of Interstate 71, you'll find Ozone Zipline Adventures at YMCA Camp Kern. This one-of-a-kind outdoor experience is the largest zipline tour in the Midwest. You can take one of two tours lasting anywhere from 3-5 hours. You'll soar through the Little Miami River Valley and your tour guides will provide you history and ecology lessons at each stop along the way.
