Newport, Rhode Island is home to the picturesque Salve Regina University, so college-aged students flock to the local bars and clubs at all times of the year. One student at Salve notes, "My life is your vacation." True to form, the club scene is excellent and highly recommended. Thames Street is where the majority of the bars are located, so bar hopping should be your priority.
