Go to San Juan Island. It's worth the trip.

Check out the comfortable ferry ride to the islands that lasts about an hour. Passengers can watch some of THE prettiest scenery. Lots of small islands, birds and seals. The little town or village of Friday Harbor is charming. Real people going about their daily business and many tourists mixed in. Great art stores and restaurants. There is a lot  to look at and just enjoy the people and the scenery.

Friday Harbor is a must if you make up to Seattle.
