While there are plenty of touristy shops that carry souvenir-type items such as snow globes that say, ‘ Estes Park ” on them, T-shirts with a picture of a mountain and the saying, “I Visited Estes Park,” and personalized bookmarks that have a picture of a bighorn sheep on the front. However, there’s a real market for these items and people buy them by the truckload!
For anyone interested in more specialized items, Estes Park ’s downtown also has shops that carry art created by locals, jewelry unlike any other, and plenty of antiques. There is also locally made candy, candles, chocolate, and a whole bunch of items made in the State of Colorado .
The shops in town are positioned next to most of Estes Park’s restaurants, so most people spend the day doing a little bit of shopping, eating lunch, doing some more shopping, and finally enjoying some locally made ice cream. An entire day can be spent browsing the stores here, and some truly original items can most definitely be found.
