For starters you can head to the Natchez Trace Parkway where you can even see preserved pieces of the original road. The parkway which is now a scenic highway, marks an Indian trail of the Natchez tribe and runs 444 miles. The trail was in its major use from the late 1700s to early 1800s. Today visitors enjoy hiking, biking, horsebackriding, and more in this trail from the past.

The Natchez National Historic Park and combines the city's old forts such as the original Fort Rosalie and commemorates the original plot of Natchez.
